Inefi to refurbish several school buildings

The National Institute of Physical Education (Inefi) will refurbish several schools in the run-up to the start of the 2024-25 school year.

The work to be carried out in the schools will be done by a team of engineers from the decentralized institution.

An Inefi press release explains that the schools to be renovated are the Evangélico Central, in Don Bosco, and the Liceo Estados Unidos.

Inefi will also intervene in the Chile and Brasil schools, in the populous sector of San Carlos. It will also carry out improvement works in the Juan Pablo Duarte high schools, in Villa Consuelo, and Gregorio Luperón, next to Inefi, in the Honduras sector.

“Dominican students will have schools and high schools ready for the 2024-25 school year by disposition of our president Luis Abinader Corona and the Minister of Education, Angel Hernandez,” expressed Inefi director Alberto Rodriguez Mella.

“Rest assured that you are going to find high schools and schools in optimal conditions, where you can play various sports disciplines, including basketball, volleyball, table tennis, chess, baseball,” Rodriguez Mella indicated.
