The Minister of Tourism, David Collado, shared through his Instagram account a video showing the tourist arrival traffic handled by Dominican air traffic controllers at the Punta Cana airport.
As reported by Collado, a total of 27,158 foreigners entered the country on Saturday, of which 16,626 arrived through the Punta Cana airport, representing a successful day for tourism in the Dominican Republic.
“A few days ago we presented that the month of March was the best month in history and the month of April is on the same path, Dominican Republic is strengthened as a leader in the region in tourism,” he said.
