Silver Airways launched a new flight from San Juan, Puerto Rico to La Romana, Dominican Republic.
The historic flight, performed in the ATR-72 aircraft, with capacity for 78 passengers, consolidates a new air bridge between both locations, thus facilitating connectivity and promoting tourism between these renowned destinations in the Caribbean.

“The arrival of Silver Airways’ inaugural flight from San Juan represents a significant step forward for La Romana Airport and the region as a whole,” said Andres Fernandez, Commercial Director of La Romana Airport.
“We are excited to be able to facilitate a direct connection between these two emblematic destinations, thus fostering cultural, tourism and economic exchange,” he said.
He indicated that “La Romana Airport extends its warmest welcome to passengers arriving on this inaugural flight, as well as to those who will take advantage of this new transportation option to discover the wonders that Destination La Romana has to offer.”
