The Consul General of the Dominican Republic in Antwerp, Belgium, Carlos George, informed that everything is ready for the development of the Belgium Dominicana tourism fair, which will be held from September 10 to 12.
He said that the objective of the event is to provide a unique opportunity for businessmen and entrepreneurs to expand their reach in new markets and establish quality commercial contacts between the Dominican Republic and Belgium.
The diplomat also said that the activity seeks to offer our tourism catalog, as the best destination in the Caribbean for the attractions that the country has been our letter of introduction to be recognized and valued as one of the best in the world.
He indicated that the fair covers a wide range of commercial sectors, such as food and beverages, tourism, culture, gastronomy, agriculture, technology, financial services, renewable energy, manufacturing, fashion and textiles, among others.
“The event is aimed at businessmen, entrepreneurs, investors, suppliers and buyers interested in establishing quality business contacts between the DR and Belgium,” George said.
He maintained that it is an important event for those looking to expand their reach to new markets, explore new business opportunities, establish commercial alliances and discover new products and services.
“What is relevant about such activities, besides the fact that it is an initiative of the Consulate that has not been carried out by any other diplomat of the country abroad, is that it becomes a promotion of our industry, culture and tourism,” he said.
I emphasize that activities like this should be replicated in each of the consulates, because as diplomats it should be one of the most important tasks to be applied, in order to promote our country in every nation we are represented.
